Term 3 Immersion Assembly/Holiday (Recap)

Hello and good morning for term three the theme is Karawhiua,Give it heaps. This theme is all based on being healthy, excersising and not being so lazy the way some people are!(no offence)Any way the whole school is looking at how they can stay healthy, how they can excersize and much more.Getting to the videos each Team 1-5 had made a video about the theme one video that stood out to me was.

Team 2’s video their video was all about a girl who had tried her hardest at running in cross country
but never placed she had made a goal to work hard and place somewhere on the leader board although she had struggled she had made alot of progress. The day had finally come and she had come first place beating someone who always placed first.

Fast forwarding to my holiday HighLights I basically did nothing all I did was play cod and fortnite and
ate food. Low light was not doing anything.A goal for me is to get more fit.Thank you for coming on my blog please leave a comment.

Inquiry Play(Santa Trap)

This term Team 5 have been learning all the fun things about Drama.Drama goes with our theme for the Term ‘Transformers’. So each group from the start of the term had a play from a book where we would rehearse and get all our costumes and props. My play was called Santa Trap this book is about 4 naughty kids who planned to trap , Santa and demand him for presents in the end…. you can find out by watching the video.

One thing that I could work on was projecting my voice louder and memorise the parts I was given. The other thing that I liked about my group was that when one of us would forget our line someone would help.Last but not least if you’re wondering why I had said so much was because one teammate chose to not come which was sad but we still made it happen.I hope you like our video!!

AudioBook

This here is my audio book and my Response to Text on the classic nursery Rhyme Little Red Riding Hood but its not the original one its part of Roald Dahls book Revolting Rhymes. This term we are doing drama and for literacy we are reading a variety of books. Also we are learning about Analogue Dialogue and much more. Check out my blog for more awesome audio books and other stuff!

Favourite Food Challenge(KFC)

Indulging in the Crispy Magic of KFC

There’s something inherently comforting about the sight and smell of a bucket of KFC. The familiar red and white stripes, the promise of succulent chicken within—every visit to KFC is like coming home to a feast of flavor and nostalgia.

First, let’s talk about that crispy, golden coating that wraps around each piece of chicken. It’s not just any coating; it’s a mix of herbs and spices, a  secret that Colonel Sanders himself stumbled upon decades ago. Bite into it, and you’re greeted with a satisfying crunch that gives way to tender, juicy meat. It’s a texture sensation like no other, a perfect balance of crispiness and succulence.

Then there’s the aroma—the delicious scent that travels through the air as soon as you step foot into a KFC joint. It’s like a siren call, impossible to resist. It beckons you closer, promising an amazing adventure that you won’t soon forget.

And let’s not forget about the sides. That scrumptious Bread that Tangy  Coleslaw—they’re the perfect accompaniments to the star of the show, the fried chicken. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, a harmony of tastes that dance on your palate and leave you craving for more.

But KFC isn’t just about the food; it’s about the experience. It’s about gathering around a table with friends and family, sharing stories and laughter as you dig into a shared bucket of chicken. It’s about creating memories that will last a lifetime, one delicious bite at a time.

So here’s to KFC—the ultimate comfort food, the timeless classic that never fails to satisfy. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a guilty pleasure, KFC is always there to welcome you with open arms and a mouthwatering spread of chicken goodness.

NOW WHATS YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD?!

Immersion Assembly- Transformers

Our Pt England Way is to always kick off with an Immersion Assembly.Today our staff  management started us off by Introducing this terms theme TRANSFORMERS!
Which is all about drama and many other things. All our Teams 1-5 had a skit/movie to show on what there team are gonna learn about. The 2 teams that stood out to me was team 3 and the best team, team5. Team 2’s skit was the scene from Matilda where Bruce (played by Bobby John) was forced by Miss Trunchbull (played by Mrs Moala) to eat the chocolate cake.
As Bruce ate the cake the other students sang as they supported Bruce. And what i think of their skit was really good the actors all knew their part and knew the song so well done Team 3!Team 5, best for last. The skit tea 5 did was Cinderella but with a twist all the words were different and it sounded like a Roald Dahl story.
Mr Wiseman was the narrator and Mr Moran was Cinderella. And yes everything in the real story happens except for the ending where Cinderella marries the princes she marries The Narrator?
Thats all for today leave a comment thanks!
